It's easy to be popular: just follow with the crowd,
And do the most outrageous things to make 'em laugh out loud.
But try to live like Jesus did, and walk the way He said,
And people think you're crazy, and avoid you like you're dead.

If it hadn't been for Jesus, I'd have lots of rowdy friends,
We'd go astray, and laugh and play, right to the bitter end.
But I'll just live a holy life, and walk the road alone,
And live forever with the Master, when I reach my home.

Just laugh at those less fortunate, and grind them in the dirt;
Forget about what's right or wrong, and grab for all the gold,
Don't worry who you step on, if they're hungry, tired and cold.
