Life is so full of mysteries and questions,
There's so many things I don't understand;
Like where does the light go, when I turn the switch off,
And why is air cooler in front of a fan?
How can ships float, when a coin will just sink,
And what keeps an airplane aloft in the sky?
Tell me why cats always land on their feet,
And why can't I see the color of my eyes?

My head's full of questions that I cannot answer,
But this is the one that's most puzzling to me:
How could Almighty God, who made heaven and earth,
Send His Son here to die, just to set my soul free?

Just how high is up, and how long is eternity?
Where does Time go when each moment has passed?
Are phantoms and werewolves and mermaids all real?
Why are Mondays so long, and the weekends so fast?
If space is a vacuum, then what holds the stars up?
And why does the Man in the Moon wear a smile?
Is it true about leprechauns, faeries and vampires?
And why must we struggle to make life worthwhile?
