WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!

John 20:27-29 -- Then he said to Thomas, Put your finger here, and see my hands;
and put out your hand, and place it in my side;
do not be faithless, but believing.
Thomas answered him, My Lord and my God!
Jesus said to him, Have you believed because you have seen me?
Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.

Now, Pharaoh's army, set to fight, was chasing all the Israelites;
Followed them both day and night, surrounded them in their campsite;
They chanced to be beside the sea, and couldn't flee no matter how they tried.
Their anxiety began to grow, and bitter words commenced to flow,
They said to Moses, "Don't you know you've left us with no place to go?"
They cursed and sneered, "Our fate is clear; now we fear
You've brought us here to die..."

Well, would you look at that! -- a road right through the sea!
Our God is strong, and all along we knew He'd set us free.
We swear that we've always believed in Yahweh's mighty hand;
Now we know we're gonna go straight to the Promised Land.

One day a dedicated family, who made their home in Bethany,
Sent Jesus an impassioned plea to come and set their brother free,
But Lazarus had bit the dust, and now was just a body in a grave.
They said to Jesus, "It's absurd to think you didn't get the word;
Yet somehow you were deterred, and three whole days you never stirred.
Now we think he's bound to stink; he's too far gone for even You to save..."

Well, would you look at that -- He raised him from the dead!
We always knew He would come through; ain't that what we said?
Come give a hand, unwrap the man, and then we'll take him home;
We'll celebrate for God is great, and we are not alone.

The Lord's disciples, at a total loss since Rome had crucified their boss,
Couldn't understand the cost that Jesus paid upon the cross;
Afraid and sad, they felt so bad that Jesus had to give His life that way.
They thought it was a tragedy to watch Him hanging from that tree,
When what they really thought they'd see was glory, might and majesty,
But they were wrong; He was gone, and they just longed to see a brighter day...

Well, would you look at that -- He's right here in the room!
Did we not say that any day He'd come dispel the gloom?
We're sure we told you you'd behold His victory over sin.
Now we're compelled to go and tell that He is back again.

And will you go tell that all is well, and bring the world to Him?
