Tooth pierces flesh
Blood is drawn
Death becomes past
Life is eternal
Never to end
The cycle continues
As night falls
You step into blackness
The night matches your heart
Black and cold
The chill surrounds you
Like a cloak
Drawn to a travellers neck
You thirst
Your plans made
In your rest
The prey awaits
You will not be denied
Into the night
Less than a league
Swift and silent
The feast awaits
lumbering soundly
Quiet, move silently
Lest she wake
Thesight alone can kill
The long rows of fangs
Set into the wide mouth
On what used to be a young visage
Now rotted and shrivelled
Beyond reconizable
As near human
The sight alone can kill
You stalk slowly
And swiftly
Your gnarled hand
Shoot out to cover
The young treats mouth
The shock in her eyes
Is fulfilling
The fear beautiful
You tear the cross
From her throat
With the flick
Of a jagged uncut nail
And laugh
You lean foreward
She struggles
Helpless against
Inhuman strength
Amusing
Rows of fangs
Sink deep into flesh
Warm life flows
Like a river
You splendor in death
Red oozes onto the floor
Your bite sinks again
And again
Your feast leaves
A greusme sight
Mangled bones
Empty flesh
Sated you stalk
Into the night
So like yourself
The sky lightens
You head home
You dream of life
A life with death
Knowing it impossible
You vow to avenge
Life never ending
With death
On those who die.
