ADOPTION IS OUR DESIRE!!!

We're a loving Christian family who is seeking to grow our family through adoption.

Hello, we are Rodney and Donna Kyzer. We have been married for 14 years and are actively seeking to adopt another baby. Donna and I have been blessed with two children, our biological daughter, Hannah, and our adopted son, Bradley. Hannah was born to us 12 years ago and since then we have experienced unexplained secondary infertility. We pursued all avenues of infertility treatment but were not able to conceive. Bradley, 2, came to us from Tokyo, Japan on February 2, 1996 when he was 5 months old. He has been such a joy and has brought so much happiness to our family that we are anxious to adopt again. Adoption is a wonderful way for us to have the family we've dreamed about for so many years.

Information About Rodney

Rodney, 38, is a career officer in the United States Air Force. Having completed 20 years, he is eligible to retire and looks forward to building the family home he has drawn plans for. He enjoys working on the computer and learning all about the latest technology. Building this family home page has been an exciting adventure for him. He is handy to have around the house and because he is so tall, 6'5", he can even change a light bulb without a stepladder!!! He can fix just about anything. He enjoys doing woodwork and has built several small pieces of furniture. He loves being a daddy and looks forward to sharing time with all of his children.

Information About Donna

Donna, 33, is a career homemaker and mother. She stays very busy with the day-to-day management of our home and family. She loves to sew, but caring for Hannah and Bradley doesn't leave much time for it. When she has time, she makes matching outfits for the family, it's sort of our family trademark. Friends anxiously wait to see what new matching outfits we will wear next. She is a member of the local quilting guild and loves to make homemade quilts and other crafts. She is a great cook and makes the best lasagna in the world. She also loves to shop. Each vacation offers a new challenge to find the best bargains. She's a bit more adventuresome than I am. She talked me into going whitewater rafting, jetboating, and bungy jumping while we were in New Zealand. Although she loves to travel, home with her children is where her heart is. She loves being a mother more than anything else and is dedicated to doing whatever it takes to do what is best for her children.

Family Information

Our goal as a family is to be as close knit as possible. We do almost everything together and try to be involved in the activities of each member of the family. We love to travel and have been to places like Alaska, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore, and many other exciting and interesting places. We enjoy looking at our pictures, reminiscing, and planning where we'll go next time. Because we live in Okinawa, Japan, we spend our leisure time at the beach playing in the sand and watching the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Okinawa is a lot like Hawaii; it's an island with palm trees and beautiful ocean scenery. We will be returning to live in the U.S. sometime within the next year with plans to build a house and be closer to our extended family again. Grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles are anxious for us to return and are praying with us for another child. We are Baptist and are actively involved with several church activities. Friday nights are spent with a group of friends having potluck and Bible study.

Information About Hannah and Bradley

Hannah has been asking for a brother or sister since she was old enough to talk. The maturity she gained by being an only child has helped her be a wonderful big sister. She loves Bradley with all her heart and is thrilled to have a brother. Everyone knows Hannah as the "girl with the long hair"; it hangs to her knees and is very beautiful. She plays the piano very well and is already teaching lessons to others. She also plays the violin and viola and has big plans to teach all her siblings to love music as much as she does. She is a motivated learner and is working above her grade level in all subjects. She enjoys being involved in many church activities: playing the offertory on the piano, playing in the orchestra, and singing in the choir. She loves to excel in whatever she does. She loves to travel and looks forward to collecting the next passport stamp and doll to add to her already extensive collection.

Bradley has brought so much joy to all of us. Ten years of hoping and planning for a baby could not prepare us for the love we would feel for this child. We bonded with him instantly. He is a happy baby, loves to dance, and has the sweetest personality. He loves his "Sissy" and his favorite character is Winnie the Pooh. Our desire is to have another baby that he can grow up with.

Over the past ten years the pain and struggle to have children has at times seemed unbearable, but pain is a powerful teacher and it has taught us to appreciate the value of our family. We continue to try to complete our family and pray that God will bless us again, as He has been faithful to do twice before. We have a completed home study and hope that we are the family you choose to place your baby with.
