Irmajean Scott Ackley, 69, of Potterville, died Oct. 23,
1995, at her residence.
Mrs. Ackley was born April 4, 1926, in Lansing, the
daughter of Milo and Sarah (Holmes) Whipple.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry of Charlotte, and
Terry of Potterville; two stepsons, Carson of Eaton Rapids,
and Melvin of Kent, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Spring
of Concord, and Joyce (Don) Miller of Olivet; many
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-
grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce (Jack) O'Brien of
Potterville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Ackley in
1986; one son, Gary, in 1984; two grandchildren; and one
brother.
Services were Oct. 27 at the Pray Funeral Home,
