Mrs Martha E Ackley, widow of Jonathan Ackley was born near ???, Ohio, Oct 25th 1850. After spending nearly her entire life in the state of Ohio, died at 12:50 a.m. Oct 27th 1920. She has lived sixteen of her seventy in the city of Chillicothe.
Out of eight children, two daughters, Mrs Mary Richardson and Mrs Ida White, and one son, Charles Ackley, are living to mourn the lose of a mother. Of the immediate relatives there remained one brother, George Stonebrunner of Hamden O., and one sister Mrs Amanda Hickson of Chillicothe.
Nearly forty years ago Mrs. Ackley gave her heart to the saviour in a little Church at Ragged Ridge and from that day has been a close follower of the Lord.
