Caught on the fender of a Ford machine driven by Mrs. J. H Huffman, of 426 Lille st., C. Wesley Richardson was crushed to death between the car and a tree at the Oil and Battery Service station about 1 :30 o'clock Friday afternoon.

He was found mangled on the railroad tracks in Scioto Co. at Portsmouth. He was buried with our great-great grandmother Martha Ellen Stoneburner Ackley in Greenlawn Cern. in Chillicothe. Newspaper clippings say he was buried in the same grave as his grandmother, but the caretaker says that wasn't true, he is buried between his father and grandmother. Charles' father who was Charles Wesley Richardson also had a tragic death when he was pinned against a tree and a car by the old Oil and Battery Shop.
