FRANKFORT- Mrs Etta Jane Milner, 76, died at 4:15 a.m. Friday at her home near Roxabell after an illness of several months.
She was born in Jackson County on Feb 28, 1870, the daughter of Joshua and Catherine Jordan, and was married to Lorenzo Ackley in 1888. Following his death she was married to William Milner who died eight years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Edith Stockey and Mrs Dora Hummell, both of Springfield; three sons, Cary of Chillicothe, Ora of London, and Virgil of Frankfort: two brothers, George Jordan, Frankfort, and Joseph, Chillicothe; a sister, Mrs Sarah Rainer, Coalton, 29 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Two sons and two daughters pre-deceased her.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the Fisher funeral home with burial in Greenlawn cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday. Renwick (Ren) Lorenzo ACKLEY and Etta Jane JORDAN had the following children:
