Cleo C. ACKLEY, 93, of Littlefield Township, died Jan. 1, 1989, at Bortz Health
Care of Petoskey.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Stone Funeral Home, Petoskey.
Lt. Gary Felton will officiate. Burial will be in the Macon Cemetery, Macon,
Mich.
Mrs. ACKLEY was born Sept. 20, 1895, in Indiana, the daughter of Harrison and
Celesta (FREED) CLEMENTS. She moved here with her family as a young girl and
attended school at Sunnyridge in Littlefield Township. She married Lee E. ACKLEY
in Petoskey. The couple resided in the Alanson area.
Mr. ACKLEY preceded her in death in 1961.
Survivors include; one son, Ross ACKLEY of Alanson; one daughter, Mrs. H.J. (Eleanor)
TEMPLIN of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; five grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren;
two great-great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army or the friendship Center
of Petoskey. Envelopes for memorials are available at the Stone Funeral Home
