She married C. Russell Ackley Jr. on June 3, 1954.
Mrs. Ackley had been employed by the Rutland Hospital, Moore Business Forms and for 20 years sold Avon.
She enjoyed puzzle books, watching golf and loved her best friend and loyal pet Tiger.
Survivors include her daughter, Roni-Sue Ackley and Lenny Monaco of Rutland and their children, Chelsea, Kamden and Brandon, her daughter, Tia Robinson and husband Tony of Clarendon and their children, Kristofer, Evan and Kourtney, daughter Tara Graham and her husband Shawn of Rutland and their daughter, Kadence, her son, Loren Ackley and wife Debbie of North Clarendon and children, Kristi, Jamie and Trevor, her son, Gene Ackley and wife Debbie of West Rutland and their children, Nicholas, Ashley and Tyler, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1999, two sons, Clyde R. Ackley III, Curt R. Ackley, two brothers, Patrick Carroll and John W. Carroll, and a granddaughter, Riley-Anne Graham in March.
Friends may call on Monday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Tuesday 10 a.m. at the St. Peter Church.
Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
