S.H. Ackley, Aged 84, Hanges himself in a vacant store room.

his home in Chickasaw MOnday afternoon. His body was found by his wife about
5 o'clock and Dr. Landon, county coroner, was summoned. He found no necessity
for an inquest.
Mr. Ackley had been suffering greatly from bladder trouble and in the forenoon
of Monday had asked a member of his family to cut his throat.
He made deliberate preparations for the ending of his life. Going up stairs
in the vacant house, he passed a chain down the stove pipe hole, placed a cross
bar through the ring, then went below and stood on a milk can while he made the
noose fast. He then stepped off the can and choked himself to death.
