Ackley on Dec. 4, 1943 and he passed away in 1976. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant H.S. and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was also a graduate of the Mildred Elley School. She was employed for several years as a secretary at General Electric Co.
Mrs. Ackley was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Johnstown; was vice president of the board of directors of Lexington Center; served on the board of directors of the Lexington Foundation and was a member of the Wells House Auxiliary. She was a member of Pine Brook Golf Club, the Colonial Bridge League and was a former member of the Students Study Club. Mrs. Ackley is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Ackley of Gloversville, N.Y.; four nephews; two nieces; one grandniece, one grandnephew; cousins and many dear friends.
There will be no visiting hours. Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Johnstown, N.Y. Cremation will take place at Leatherstocking Crematory, Cherry Valley, N.Y. Arrangements are by the Ehle Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lexington Center, Johnstown, N.Y
