MARATHON - Services for William D Ackley, 71, a rural resident here the past 10 years, will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Baker Funeral Home. Ackley, a plumber, died Monday night following a lengthy illness at the home of his son. Walter of 72 Elm St. Norwich The Rev. David Davis pastor of the Whitney Point Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial Will be in Marathon Cemetery. Ackley was a native of Jersey City. He was a member of the Freetown Methodist Church. Survivors besides his son Walter, are five other sons, Ronald. of RD 2, Howard of Haverstraw, Daniel of Maywood N J.; Richard of Paramus, N. J, and George of Marathon; 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren..
