12. Harriet G ACKLEY was born on 15 Mar 1831 in Medina, Orleans, New York.^13,15,43 1860 census has birth as ca 1840 She appeared in the census in 1860 in Michigan. She died on 23 Sep 1904 in Battle Creek, Calhoun , Michigan.¹⁵ Her Obituary appeared in the Harriet Russell

Her Maiden name was Ackley, she was born in Medina N Y , March 15 1831 and died in Battle Creek Mich., Sept , 23, 1904. Her parents came to Convis, Calhoun Co., Mich., when she was a young girl.
She was married to M L Dickinson Oct. 11, 1849. He died Jan. 13, 1852. Of this union one child was born, Mrs, Ella Johnson now residing in the state of Washington. She was married in Aug. 1853, to Harry Morey. He died Oct., 2, 1873. Of this union four children were born, Mrs. Sarah Crowhurst of Kolamo, Henry Morey of Battle Creek and Charles Morey of Bellevue and a son who died in infancy. She was again married in 1877 to J W Russell of Convis where she resided until his death in 1900. Since that time she has made her home with her son Charles in Bellevue. She also leaves to morn her death two brothers Charles Ackley of Battle Creek and George Ackley of Convis, who still resides on the old homestead, also one sister, Mrs Sarah Fitzgerald of Battle Creek.
She was a member of the Methodist church with her husband, Harry Morey, until his death. She enjoyed a good faith in her Savior at the time of her departure. She was an affectionate wife and mother, a kind sister and neighbor.
The funeral services were held at the Carmel church Monday afternoon, Sept, 26, Rev Wm A Taylor officiating.
