She had been ill sinced Monday of this week.
She was born September 5, 1881 at Riverton, Nebraska and was married September 7, 1898 to J.T. Ackley who preceded her in death in 1933. They came to Roger Mills County in 1895 and made their home there since that time. Mrs. Ackley was a member of the Church of Christ at Hammon.
One son, Walker Ackley, preceded her in death and the following children survive her --Mrs. Retta Creswell, Hammon, George Ackley, Clinton; Hammon Ackley, Brawley, California; Reed Ackley and Glenwood Ackley of Los Angeles, California.
One sister Mrs. Maaggie Dean of Estancila, N.M.; and three half sisters, Mrs. Mable Shoun of Guthrie; Mrs. Dorothy Adams of Leedey; and three brothers Clarence Walker of Butler; Earl Walker of Yucapai, California and Orville Walker of San Bernardino, California; her step-mother, Mrs. Myrtle Walker of Butler and 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Church of Christ at Hammon with Tommy Hodge, minister, reading the final rites. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery with Martin-Hullum funeral directors in charge.
