Taylor, and Habit maker, from London, has now set up his
Business in Philadelphia, at the House of Mr. Thomas
Ackley, Chairmaker, in Chestnut street;
Where any Gentlemen, Ladies, or others, who please to
honour him with their Favours, may depend on being served in
the newest and genteelest taste now in on, and on as
reasonable Terms as any in Philadelphia, by their humble
Servant, GEORGE SENNETT.

N.B. He also inclines to take an Apprentice.

A Three story brick house, situated on the East side of Fourth
street, near Market street, joining a Lot of Mr. Benjamin
Kendall, the lot is 17 feet and half an inch front, and 65
feet deep, subject to Six Pistoles groundrent per annum
forever; the house is 15 feet 10 inches front by 20 feet 6
inches back, a cellar under the whole, with a large fireplace
in it, 14 inches being left out for the benefit of a three
feet four inches alley, paying for party wall, the chambers
well finished, two rooms on a floor, the lower part used for a
workshop; there is a well sunk 7 feet wide, and 15 deep, with
a 14 inch wall across the lower end of the lot.

If the above is not sold by private Sale before the Tenth
of April next, it will then be sold by public Sale at the
London Coffee house, at Six oin the evening. It is
insured for five years to come. The front wall is sunk deep
enough for a vault.
He signed a will on 24 May 1817.7 To John Ackley, all estate. To daughter-in-law Rachel Stemple, $20. To Lydia and
Lousia, $10 each. Rem. of estate divided into 9 equal parts.

Whereas: ELIZABETH, WIFE OF SAID THOMAS ACKLEY, died leaving said Thomas Ackley and 7 children: namely HANNAH, WIFE OF JOSIAH JOHNSON; DAVID ACKLEY; SARAH, WIFE OF WILLIAM WATSON; MARTHA, WIFE OF THOMAS COUGHLIN; JOHN B. ACKLEY; THOMAS ACKLEY AND MORDECAI ACKLEY in whom premises, vested in fee, as tenants in common subject to life estate of father, said THOMAS ACKLEY

Whereas: Said DAVID ACKLEY, entitled to I full 7th , died during lifetime of father without issue, having made a will, appointed brother JOHN B. ACKLEY, Gilbert Gaw, and Josiah Johnson, executors. Said JOHN B. ACKLEY AND Gilbert Gaw are now deceased; executor of will now devolved upon Josiah Johnson alone. THOMAS ACKLEY, father, is also deceased.
