W L Ackley, 61 of 411 North Windomere, who had represented Dallas tailor supply house in the Southwest for the twenty one years since he came here from Philadelphia, died Saturday. He was an expert on fabrics and the chemical process of cleaning and dying cloth and was well known over a wide territory among clothiers and tailors.
Services will be at 2 pm Monday at the Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel, with the Rev Bertram L Smith officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Surviving him are his wife, a son, Tom W Ackley, and two daughters, Mrs Jean Moon, and Miss Emma Ackley, all of Dallas; a brother, Dr T B Ackley, and two sisters, Miss Flora E Ackley and Miss Jane Ackley, all of Philadelphia. He was buried on 27 May 1940 in Laurel Land Cemetery , Dallas, Dallas , Texas.^16,28 He was educated Jefferson Grammar School in 1893, Thomas H.
