The time was pleasantly passed with social chat and music. Refreshments was
served by the hostess.
One of the most novel features of the evening was a small Noah's ark, in which
were placed the many beautiful gifts for the bride.
Miss Ackley is head nurse of the Marion City Hospital. Mr Turner is an employee
of the Marion Steam Shovel Company In Jan 1920 she was Laborer at Carthage,

Mrs. Noah L Turner
Mrs Emma E Turner, 76, of Barkswood Rd. died at 4:20 a. m. today at Community
Memorial Hospital after an Illness of 4 months.
Born Dec. 19, 1897, in Gordonsville, Minn., she was the daughter of Daniel
and Magdalene Ackley. She was married to Noah L Turner Sept. 11, 1914, in Athens.
Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 11, 1955.
She is survived by a son, Lloyd Turner of Parkersville, W. Va.; two daughters,
Mrs. Mildred Lust of Barkswood Rd., and Mrs., Donna McCoy of Toledo; four brothers,
Autmer Ackley of Indian River, George of Columbus, Charles and Maurice of Guysville,
and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Batchelder of The Plains and Mrs. Ruth Varner
of Guysville. Two sisters are deceased.
Mrs. Turner, a Marion resident for 55 Years, was a member of the Oakland EUB
Church, the Onward Bible Class, and a missionary society.
The Boyd Funeral Home is handling arrangements. She died on 6 Mar 1964 in
Marion, Monroe , Ohio.4 She
