He was living between 1900 and 1920 in Topeka, Shawnee , Kansas.^204,205,206 In 1912 he was a clerk in the Telephone Dept AT & S F Ry at Topeka, Shawnee , Kansas.²⁰⁷ He lived at 907 Morris Ave in Topeka, Shawnee , Kansas in 1912.²⁰⁷ On 21 Jan 1920 he was Clerk Rail Road Office at Topeka, Shawnee , Kansas.²⁰⁶ He died in Mar 1936.^4,208 His Obituary appeared in the Topeka State Journal on 25 Mar 1936 in Topeka, Shawnee , Kansas He appeared in the census 1870, 1900, 1910 & 1920 in Kansas. The following is an excerpt from a letter written by Ida McCoIlom to Lois Childers 12 March 1969:

"Uncle Mike was an employee of the Santa Fe Railroad, lived in Topeka, Kansas. He had one son, Wayland, in Milwaukee, Wisc; Mable Cline, Topeka, Kansas; Bernie Parker, 811 E, Washington, Pasadena, California. The old home address 903 Morris Ave., Topeka."

Mathias Rush, writing in 1896:

"Michael the first (son), was born in the year 1853. He was obedient, learned well at school. He was 14 when he leff here. He afterward went to high school two or three short terms. He had several kinds of business or professions in mind, and the last I heard he had taken up shorthand and typewriting and settled in Topeka, Kan."
"He was a member of a Babtist Church and married when tolerably young."







Sylvester Rush, writing in 1925:

"He is employed by the Santa Fe Railroad Company with headquarters in Topeka, Kansas,"

Michael Rush ACKLEY and Lutetia BLAIR were married on 1 Feb 1880 in Topeka, Shawnee , Kansas.^4,206 Lutetia BLAIR was born on 1 Feb 1860 in Missouri.^204,205,206 She died after 1925.⁴ She appeared in the census 1900, 1910 & 1920 in Kansas.
