STATE OF GEORGIA
COFFEE COUNTY
In the name of God, Amen I Aly Hays of Said State and County being of advanced age but of sound and disposing mind and memory Knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right and proper Boath as respects myself and family that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me
I do therefore make This my last will and testament Revoking and annulling all others heartofore made by me.
First} I desire and direct that my body be Buried in a decent and christian like manner Suitable to my condition and circumstances of life My Soul I Trust Shall Return To rest with God who gave it as I hope for Soul _____ Through the merrits and attonement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Second} I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my executors hearafter named and appointed..
Third} I give and bequeath to my Two sons Bryant and Benjamin all of my real estate consisting of for(?) hundred and fifty acres of Lot of Land number three hundred and sixty-one (361) in the first district of originally Appling now Coffee County with all and singular the Rights and Appertannances to said Land any wise appertaining or Belonging forever in fee Simple.
Fourth} I give and Bequeath to my two sons foresaid to wit Bryant and Benjamin my entire personal estate except as hearin after provided consisting of Sixty five head of cattle more or less two horses thirty or forty head of hogs a few sheep a Lot of farming utensils all of my housefold and kitchen furniture all of the provisions forever(?) I may have at the time of my death and whatever crop growing or maturin and gathered that may then be on hand belonging to me and whatsoever else I may own of personal property except as I may hearinafter otherwise direct the said Bryant and Benjamin forever.
Fifth} To My Son Eli I give and Bequath one dollar To my daughters Betsy, Kisiah Emily Sena and Cynthia I give and bequath each one dollar To the Children of my deceased sons Peter Richard and Henry I give and Bequeath each one dollar All of which Last bequathed I direct my Executors hearinafter named To Pay out of My personal estate.
Sixth} I hearby constitute and appoint my Sons Bryant and Benjamin Executors of this My Last Will and Testament
