Jello

What jello means to me:
First it's a sweet treat for dessert.
Second it is a way of sharing.
Third it's a safe place to go when I don't think I can read about
any pain and suffering today.

That's just what it means to me.  I can't speak for anyone else.

The beginning of the famous Jello thread (in my recollection) was when a person got out of the hospital and someone else wished him well.  They commented about the jello that is always served in hospitals.  Then someone from the United Kingdom asked the simple question

What is jello?

That started the famous Jello thread.  It became a thread of messages about food and other things quite safe from the everyday struggles going on in our lives.  It was funny and warm and very supportive.

There is really nothing *special* about Jello.  It's the people who write about it that are special.
