Howard Powell (IH4d) was born 8/12/1917 at 1896 River Rd. in Camden, NJ. At the time of his confirmation he took the name "George" as his middle name. He and Juanita Bell Carstens were married 7/24/1938 at the City Hall in Doylestown, PA. Juanita was born 7/24/1921 at #4 State St. Bridge in Camden. In 1938, Howard was working as a timekeeper for the WPA. He and his family were living at 3258 Lemuel St. in Camden. By 1943, he was working at the New York Shipyard in Camden. Howard died 10/5/1975 at home in Pennsauken, NJ. His funeral was from the Stephenson Funeral Home in Merchantville, NJ. He was buried at Locustwood Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ. Juanita currently lives in Pennsauken.

Howard Wesley Powell, The Reverend (IH4d1) was born 6/1/1939 at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. He attended Rustgers University and graduated ???? with a BS Degree in Engineering Management. He and Doris Elaine Oakley were married 8/27/1960 at Grace Episcopal Church in Merchantville, NJ. She was born 2/10/1941 in Philadelphia, PA. Doris was a teacher and taugh English as a second language. She died 8/11/1998. Her funeral was conducted at Grace Episcopal Church and she was buried at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ. Howard currently works as a Manager, Information Systems Integration for Lockheed Martin Corp in Moorestown, NJ and serves as an Episcopal Priest. He plays verious instruments including the hammered dulcimer, lap dulcimer, guitar and banjo. He performs with the instrumental group Noneshuch. He currently lives in Pennsauken, NJ.

Elaine Diana Powell (IH4d1a) was born 10/2/1963 in Cherry Hill, NJ. She and Charles "Chip" Edward Adamson were married 1/7/1989 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Medford, NJ. Chip was born 7/11/1963 in Philadelphia, PA. They currently live in Berlin, NJ.

Samantha Morgan Adamson (IH4d1a1) was born 5/1/1993.

Sydney Marie Adamson was born 2/9/96.

Kenneth Howard Powell (IH4d1b) was born 7/28/1966 in Newark, NJ. He and Marianne Caneo were married in April of 1997. Ken has recently changed jobs and is currently working as an Electrical Engineer. Marianne owns and operates a restaurant called A Little Cafe. It is an outstanding restaurant which has won numerous awards including the Best In South Jersey. The restaurant is located in Vorhees, NJ (behind the Echelon Mall). Ken and Marianne currently live in Voorhees, NJ.

Ashlee Jordan Powell (IH4d1b1) was born 7/2/2001. She was baptized 10/7/2001 at St. Rose Church in Haaddon Heights, NJ.

Juanita Bell Powell (IH4d2) was born 6/8/1941 at West Jersey Hospital in Camden, NJ. She and James Steven McMenamin were married in 1960. He was born 9/19/1941 in Philadelphia, PA. They currently live in Villas, NJ.

James Gordon McMenamin (IH4d2a) was born 12/26/1965 at West Jersey Hospital in Camden, NJ. He attended Rutgers University School of Business in Camden and graduated in May of 1989 with a BS Degree in Accounting. He and Kathleen Mary Sklar were married 6/30/1990 at St. Cecilia's RC Church in Pennsauken, NJ. She was born 4/5/1966 in Camden. They eventually divorced 5/24/2000. Jim currently works as a Auditor and lives in Mays Landing, NJ.
