Joseph "Ace" Carl Horneff (IW3a) was born 3/16/1914 in Camden or Merchantville, NJ. He married Lula Elizabeth Harper. She was born 9/24/1914. By 1940, Ace was secretary treasurer at Joseph Horneff & Sons, Inc. Also by this time, he and his family lived in Audabon, NJ. He later founded the Sunbeam Venetian Blind Company in Pennsauken, NJ. He was also the owner of Ace's Place in Tuckerton, NJ. Ace resided in Tuckerton since 1962. He was a member of several clubs and fraternities in Audabon, Pennsauken and in North Carolina. He died 7/30 or 31/1990 at the Mainland Division of the Atlantic City Medical Center in Tuckerton. A memorial service was held at 113 Parker Road in Tuckerton. The burial was private. Lula currently lives in Tuckerton.
