Applying for Membership


Persons interested in joining ORIENTALS WEST must do the following:

1. Read the club constitution and by-laws.

2. Write a letter of application to the Secretary of the club (email
applications are not acceptable).  Your letter should include whatever
information you believe might help the club reach a favorable decision
on your application for membership.  Don't forget to include your reasons
for wanting to join the club and what club activities you wish to
participate in or contribute to.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL APPLICATIONS ARE RE-TYPED OR SCANNED AND THEN
POSTED TO THE MEMBERSHIP FOR THEIR REVIEW.

At the end of your letter, before your signature, please include the
following statement:

"I agree with the objectives of Orientals West and am in good standing
with CFA.  All information I have provided herein is true and correct."

3. Enclose a check or money order for one year's dues, currently US$15.00.
At this time, please make it payable to the Secretary (Carolyn Koval)
personally.

Applications are processed as they are received.  If you do not hear from
the Secretary within three weeks of the date you sent your application,
please contact her by email or telephone.
