THE COODY FAMILY

The name Coody is thought to be an English pronunciation of the Scottish name McO'Day, though it has yet to be proved. All variants the name are also said to be kin. Emily Virginia Coody Logue was said to never miss the William "Buffalo Bill" Cody Wild West Show, because she "wanted to see her cousin". The only real FAME that I know of is that Zephania's wife was full blooded Indian and that their grandson Warren was chief of the Cherokees in Oklahoma for a period of time.
