This line is documented to James Brewer born about the time of the start of the Revolutionary War. He is thought to be the son of William Brewer, a Revolutionary War Veteran, and Phanah Resden but there are questions as to whether William was ever married.

This line is decended from a Jean & Alce Bricquet who immigrated from France to Virgina about 1690. The family soon adopted the English spelling of their name. The Brickey surname supposibly descends only through the youngest of three sons, Peter, who was the only one who had a surviving male line (in addtion to the daughters).

Wilkerson Genealogy
This family first found in Sevier County, TN in the 1870 Census with the family of Thomas Wilkerson and Margaret Stinnett. According to the census the family moved from Mississippi to Tennessee between 1860 and 1862.
