Question 2: If you were able to use or create the template, were you able to save it as HTML?
Answer: Yes, I saved the first one with the htm extension and the second with the html extension.
Question 3: Did you begin your HTML "virtual notebook" and perform the exercises at the end of Lesson 1?
Answer: Yes, And you happen to be looking at part of it so Thank You!
If you would like to go back and take another look at Lesson 1 please use the Back button
on your Browser.
Lesson 2 Assignment: Part 1
- Create a second HTML document and give it whatever name you would like.
The second page I have created is this one and it is called lesson2.html
- In your second HTML document, use at least FOUR of the HTML tags discussed in this lesson to format the text.
FOUR of the tags I have used in this document are the <Hx></Hx> tag set,
The <HR> tag,
The <OL></OL> tag set
and the <FONT></FONT> tag set.
- After you have created the second page, add a link to it on your first page.
The link I have created to this page is called Lesson 2
- Now add a link to your second page back to the first page
Return to the beginning of my notebook
Lesson 2 Assignment: Part 2
Please record the following in your virtual notebook:
- The answers to the review questions in the beginning of the lessons.
As you can see the questions and the answers are noted above.
- The results of your research through either online or written resources to learn about a third type of list in HTML
The other type of list that I found was the NESTED LIST.
What this list actually does is list a list within a list.
I found this information at http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/Heneral/Internet/WWW/HTMLPrimer.html
This is a good place for those beginning a webpage!
- Your opinion of the use of Cascading Style Sheets on web pages at this stage of implementation.
My opinion on this is still reserved. I am open-minded about style sheets, but at the same time I wonder if they will make people lazier. In order to make a good web page now you have to do the work. If the results all come from preset tags will we even need to write HTML in the future or just push a couple of Buttons? I will wait and see on this one.
- A beginning list of online resources that you have consulted and feel are especially helpful
Here is the URL to my Web Resources page on the web
I hope to continue adding to this page every chance I get!
