Hi Carol I got a new computer for Christmas and am a newcomer to the internet. I was browsing around a few days ago for cowboy pages and found yours, & what a great website it is. Carol, I just love your web site. My husband found it while poking around on the web, looking for sites about cowboys, as we have just developed our own site about Broncho Charlie Miller, who was the youngest rider of the Pony Express. Broncho Charlie was my great uncle, and quite the character. He broke all kinds of records in his 105 years of life, and was with Buffalo Bill's Wild West for a few years. I've written a book about him and am looking for a publisher right now. We've put together a 12 page newspaper to honor this old colorful character, who was born in 1850 and passed away in 1955. Check him out.... Now, I'm going to switch back to your site, and probably won't be to bed anytime soon tonight. It's great! Want to swap links? We would be so honored!

Hello from British Columbia, Canada. I left the ranch in 67 to join the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Regina, Saskatchewan. Dirt has never left me and now take time out from home in town to travel to my own spread outside of town where I collect deer....John Deere. Have a herd of two dozen in the barn and bringing and new one home tomorrow. Most enjoyable this farming. May be a millionair but will always have dirt under my nails. Love your page. Regards,....

It's 3 am and I am watching my heifers. We got this thing rebuilt for Christmas and I am surfin! Found your site and really enjoyed it. Thanks for your work! I live about 50 miles north of Cheyenne and we get our mail at Iron Mountain. Got about 700 cows to calve so I will be back. Thanks again!

A small note simply to say I enjoy and have read many of the interesting stories, essays and poems. I live in Northern Alberta Canada, where the old "Wild West" days have kind of gone. Tripped on your web site accidently..... Thought it was pretty innovative...we live in a small town in Manitoba Canada, Starbuck.. It got its name from a homesteader on a wagon being pulled by two oxen named Star and Buck. My name is Dennis , and I work for the fire department in the capital city of Manitoba, Winnipeg. Yer not gonna believe this but a Yankee from Bronx New York sent me the link to this web site/page. She thought it was funny. She was wrong. Some of what you said in the intro brought tears to my eyes because there are so few real Texans left here. Texas has the friendliest people in the world, the best food and the most diverse population and geography of any other state. What other state has white sandy beaches to white capped mountains, Forests and deserts ? I love it. If I am ever forced to leave Texas I will be in a box. Someone find that box please and plant me where I belong.

Dear Carol--you have the most interesting site I've come across since I got online in Dec. '97...when someone sent me a link to your site, I sent it onto my brother who loves to write cowboy poetry in Half Moon Bay, CA...little did I know that I would be clicking on link after link on your pages. When I'm totally wigged out with "Migraine" (my computer) we go to your site to lighten the mood. We currently are working on our site Texas Frontier Outfitters, as I told you. We have a new edition loading on probably this coming week. My pardner, Outfitter, has been burning the midnight oil to get it updated.
