In da words of Houdini's Hoomin Marcia Fugitte:
"Houdini came to me as an 8-week old kitten, he got his name from Harry Houdini the greatest escape artist that ever lived. Why Harry Houdini? Well we were playing one day and he got tied up in a ball of yarn, which in turn got knotted around some chair legs and this little 8 week old kitten managed to escape this predicament all by himself, and from that time on I called him Houdini.
Houdini went to Rainbow Bridge at the age of 9 years, he died of old age. Houdini was allowed to be both an inside and outside cat.
Marcia says she still misses Houdini very much, but gets joy out of our two cats, Simba Nala Mufasa and Timone Snowstar, whose photo's can be seen at their own special website, listed below in a message from Clay (Purrawr)."
Hi, Clay here, Marcia is my wife and this is a cat that she had when we first got married, she didn't want to displace Houdini from his native surroundings, so he was left at her parents house, that and the fact that at the time I was dating Marcia and setting our wedding plans, I hate to admit this now, since I've completely been turned around by the two kitties that own me, Timone and Simba, but, yes, I *hated*, actually *loathed* cats and didn't want any part of them period! Not around me, not near me and *definitely NOT* in my house or apartment!
But since Simba and Timone came into our lives a lot has changed my attitude about and on cats!
Please visit my other site called: Timone, Simba & Princess Nightingales' Cat Pages, you can get to it from a link on the home page of this site or you can click on the underlined link above to get there.
There you will see Simba and Timone's story as well as why I disliked cats so very, very much BEFORE these two little balls of fluff came into my life and stole away my heart and ever changed me from a d*g lover to a CAT LOVER!
Something that my wife (Marcia) and her mother thought would *never*, NOT EVER, happen. But now they'll both tell you I'm *ADDICTED* to Cats and I'd have more than two if I could get away with it! :)
Update: We have acquired a 3rd kitty, Princess Nightingale! You can see her photo at the above mentioned site!
Well enough of my ramblings, enjoy the rest of the site and do visit the other site or you'll be missing out on quite a lot!
