Rhythm Beads
About Rhythm Beads
Rhythm beads serve many purposes. The ringing of the bells is
not only pleasant to listen to, but, when worn on a trail ride, the
sound warns wild animals of your approach, sometimes
preventing deer (and other animals) from jumping out in front of
you and spooking your horse. I have also heard them called “Bear
beads”. I have found that the steady ringing helps to quiet a young
or nervous horse; the steady pleasant sound helps any horse
maintain a good cadence in their gait. They are fun too!!
Beatle’s Glen rhythm bead necklaces are made from glass “crow”
beads and spacer and accent beads made from a variety of
materials (except for “Naturewood”, which are wood beads).
There are slight variations from necklace to necklace so when you
purchase Beatle’s Glen Rhythm Beads, you can be assured that
you own a unique piece of horse jewelry. The beads are strung on
2mm leather cord. Clean your beads after each use by gently
wiping them with a warm damp washcloth. Try not to get the
leather cord wet.
I also have waxed cotton cord available by special order. The
waxed cotton cord is not as attractive as the leather cord (kind of
looks like shoe string), but it you are not good about caring for you
beads, the cotton cord is a little more tolerant to that. Just
request that with your order if you want it.
