2. Sarah A.² Barnes (William Elijah¹) was born Boonsboro, KY September 10, 1838. Sarah died December 12, 1895 Chico, Butte Co. CA, at 57 years of age.

She married twice. She married James Irving Brown Cedar, MO, March 22, 1855. James was born 1822 Kentucky. James died 1880 Carol Co. AR, at 58 years of age. She married Henry Ware Dr. Oroville, CA, April 02, 1885.

Sarah A. Barnes and James Irving Brown had the following children:

+ 13 i. James Irving³ Brown Jr. was born February 18, 1856.

14 ii. Betty Brown was born Kentucky 1858. Betty died 1859 Kentucky, at 1 year of age.

15 iii. Nancy Brown was born Kentucky 1860.

+ 16 iv. Willaim Thomas Brown was born April 03, 1863.

+ 17 v. Martha Brown was born 1865.

+ 18 vi. Jeremiah Brown was born March 25, 1867.

19 vii. Twin 1 Brown was born 1869. Twin died 1869 at less than one year of age.

20 viii. Twin 2 Brown was born 1869. Twin died 1869 at less than one year of age.

+ 21 ix. Mary Melvina Brown was born January 06, 1870.

+ 22 x. Sarah Louisa Brown was born January 06, 1870.

23 xi. Margaret Brown was born in Arkansas 1872. Margaret died in Texas. She married Dan Harris.

24 xii. David Brown was born March 1873. David died June 25, 1943 Prineville, OR, at 70 years of age.

25 xiii. George Brown was born in Arkansas 1875. He married Emma Carson Peters.

+ 26 xiv. Arminta Brown was born March 26, 1878.

27 xv. John Brown was born in Arkansas 1878. John died March 1884 Chico, Butte Co. CA, at 5 years of age.

+ 28 xvi. Dora Susan Brown was born July 03, 1881.
