I want to dedicate this page to everyone that has furnished information and photos
of their families. Without them this "Foster's in DeKalb County" page would be nothing.

First, I want to thank Dr. Billy G. Foster for his many years of research on the early Fosters and for the book that he published "The Foster Family of Flanders, England, and America". Most of the early Foster information came from him and his book. (Thanks Bill).

Second, I want to thank someone that has been gone from this earth for many years, William Thomas Foster. I guess you could say he was the early historian of the John and Sinah Foster family. It was the copy of his "Letter to Ernest" that gave me my first leads in the search for many of John and Sinahs children. There was also a lot of family information in the articals that he wrote in 1927 to "The Smithville Review", "Reminiscences of Smithville".
