NOTE:William Golden Foster was in Bloomington, Ill. at the time of his death. He was buried at Shuqualak, Mississippi. In a letter dated 27 April 1965, Frances Marion Foster Shannon states that no one knows why he was there. The John G. Foster that sent the telegram Is John Golden Foster, son of William Thomas Foster and grandson of William Golden Foster.
