This is my masterpiece, my pride and joy, my ultimate accomplishment (so far). It took me over 37 HOURS just to solder this lampshade together! That does not include the time it took me to cut, wrap, and place the glass on the form. That must have been at least another 15 to 20 hours. It hangs over my kitchen table and is clearly visible from outside through a large window.

This lamp is also in my kitchen over the sink (I have a very large kitchen.) This one was a snap to make compared to the large one!
This is the third lamp in my kitchen. It's just inside the backdoor and was fairly easy to make too.
This is a small lamp which I recently finished. It hangs in my den and lights the area between two doorways. This one was easy to make and is an excellent match for the wallpaper in the room.
This was another "killer" project. I made this for my stepson for Christmas 1995. It's a little difficult to see, but the wizard's hair is done in streaked glass that runs from an almost transparent grey to an opaque black. I'm quite proud of this one too.
I made this for one of my kitchen windows but ended up giving it away as a gift. The bumble bee was a little "beast" to make because of the tiny pieces of glass in his body. I'm going to make another one for me - some day.
This is a suncatcher that I made for a friend who is a real cat person (like me). If you look closely you can see that the cat is hugging a fish bowl with two fish swimming in it. I thought it was really cute. Maybe I'll make one of these for me someday (*lol*).
This was my first project in stained glass. It is the pass-through window between my kitchen and dining room. I actually designed the pattern myself! Considering it was the first "big" thing I did, I think the outcome was fantastic.
I'm about to start another lamp shade called "Magnolia". It too will hang in my den between my husband's and my chair. It should look absolutely beautiful because the wallpaper has magnolias on it and I'm going to use glass in the same colors. I'm very anxious to get going on it now that I have my studio all set up and ready to go! My husband redid a room in the house so I can use it exclusively for my glass projects. What a guy!
