Vol 3 Issue 4 - October - November 2002
Welcome to Linda's Crafty Chronicles. It is sure beginning to get cold. Fall is definitely here. I am working on a few holiday ideas for future issues and hope to have one dedicated to the December holidays. Life is always a challenge and children(grown or small) always stir things up. I am working on getting a few of the projects in my patterns done up so they have pictures. Some were created before I had the ability to take and post pictures to the Internet. I know I like it better when I can see a picture of a finished item before making it. If you have made one of my patterns and have a picture, email it to me and I will post it on the page and give you credit for the picture. I am working on a few other projects to give you in future issues and hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.

My Polymer Clay Tutorials: I have finished the tutorial for the Recipe Card Holder. This is with polymer clay but the same can be done with plaster-of-paris and felt cutouts.

My Free Patterns: I have several patterns ready for this month. I have a new Pumpkin/Jack-o-Lantern Fastener for the towel tops. It can be used with the
Jack-o-lantern face for Halloween or left plane for Fall decorating or Thanksgiving. I have also added some pictures to a few of my patterns. The new pics are:
Pixie Slippers for the Whole Family
4 Easy Knit Scarves - I have added 1 more pattern to this.
I have also included 4 new patterns for ear warmers using the stitches for the 4 knit scarves so that you can make a set. These would be great for a homeless person or knit an ear warmer for the people in the armed forces.
I'm making slippers, hats and earwarmers for my yahoo group "Charity Hearts". I am also working on 12 inch squares and putting them together for comfortghans for my brother Steven and his wife Samantha. I add updates as the situation changes. I am also knitting baby items for the Navy relief Program and keeping very busy.
I have a pattern for a sweater to be knit all in one piece. It can be used for a preemie or will easily fit a teddy bear or doll for a child for Christmas. This pattern and others will be in the December/January issue. Hope to see you there.
