Chapter IIIHunting Ohmar the Monster BallPage 17 |
I'd better be sure, in case of the worst scenario, that my nails are in condition. Won't take a minute and I'll feel a lot more confident if my nails are nice and sharp. This is my favorite tree for nail care.
|
Could Ohmar be up in that tree? I don't know if he can climb trees or not. He may be able to fly.. maybe he FLEW at me..I thought Lee THREW him at me..I wonder... hmmmmmm... " Last summer that ole Mockingbird had a nest up there. wonder where she is? |
Well, the Mockingbird isn't in the tree. There she is over on the clothes-line. |
I really don't want her to see me. She might think I am trying to get to her nest. I haven't seen it up there, and if it is there, I'm pretty sure she has no babies in it this time of year; but she may be planning on rebuilding it for the next season which isn't too far off. I notice that Lee's Jonquils are blooming. And I know, too, that Mrs. Robbin had built her nest in the tree down by the patio on the same branch every year for at least 5 years until the limb was blown off.
