Born  in Houston Texas on November the 6:th in 1938 as
James Marcus Smith.

My school mate Harry had a big brother playing in a band. Harrys big brother loaned me the record  with "Hold on to what You got". Harry was excited about the West Side Story film songs. Harry and his brother where frantic Elvis fans they thaucht  Proby looked a lot like Elvis except Proby  wore a little ponytail.

Pepe Willberg made a cover version from "To make a big Man Cry" in Finland ( Saat Miehen Kyyneliin)

This Proby rebel ripped his pants (accidentaly) on stage in 2 consecutive concerts and was banned from the media (before it became a trademark).

On those days the different high schools arranged teenager dances . "I'll go Crazy" was played very often

Burning Love

Elvis Aaron Presley and his twin brother Jesse Garon were born in East Tupelo, rural Mississippi, on January 8, 1935

Elvis was (still is) the most important singer in in American 20th century popular music and the single highest-selling performer in history

Elvis was a brand long before even the concept of a brand was invented. He was a kindhearted and a deeply religious man.

Elvis died 1977 and I had to go to the Army. Thats the year when I count that my days as a "Youg Man" ended and I stepped in to the world of adulthood.
