Since I write a small amount of poetry,

I decided to share a bit of it here with you.

the more creative side of Michael.

I wrote this particular piece

before I had the honor of

meeting the best friemd any man

could ever ask for;

My Dearest Friend And Wife,
Sara.

When first we meet,
We should take our time,
And share our thoughts.

When first we meet,
We should share our hopes,
As well as our dreams.

When first we meet,
We should touch, and be touched,
Though not necessarily physically.

When first we meet,
We should see, and be seen,
For what we truly are,
Not for what the other wants us to be.

When first we meet,
We should be who we are,
Not who we think we should be.

Because, When first we meet,
These things and so much more,
Will decide the future.
