This piece was written

simply for the pleasure

of writing it.

It speaks to what we

should all have

or should want.

Or perhaps what we wanted to have; but didn't.

Friends And Lovers

Can a friend be a Lover?
Can a Lover be a Friend?
What one lacks, can the other one cover?

Though these things can never be certain,
There are others that one should know,
For as time slowly draws it’s curtain,
Where one goes, the other should follow.

For a Lover to be a Friend,
For A Friend to be a Lover,
To come to a successful end,
Where there is one, there must be the other.

To keep a secret untold,
From one or the other,
Is to lose that which only you hold.
The love you hold almost as dear
As the love of your Mother.

There are rules we should always follow,
There are things we must always do,
As surely as we watch the flight of a Swallow,
To one another you must always remain true.
