MIKE

My oldest brother... Mike is married to Carla, and has one son, Alex, who will be 18 years old this year (2000). They live in Minnesota. He is a retired telecommunication's analyst. He's a very talented artist too, although he would never admit it :-). We've really grown close since I was diagnosed with cancer in 1994. We email each other all of the time and he calls me on holidays. He's taught me a lot about why I had such a hard time growing up. Anyway, I think he's the greatest!! My nephew is a computer whiz too. He just bought himself his very own laptop. I'm soooooo jealous!! :-) He also plays the piano/keyboard, which is kind of neat, since we now know that our long lost grandmother was an accomplished pianist. Recently, he put out his very first CD full of great music.

BOB

Bob lives in Oregon. He has three adorable children--Sierra, Terran, and Orion. I recently received a great picture of them and I will add it here very soon. In the meantime, click on "Bob" above to see him and the children. He is most like our father. Loves to travel, loves to take adventures, loves to dream, and is very talented. He's in the process of building a house from the ground up right now. I can't wait to see it!! He's a great surfer too!!

STEVE

Steve is the intellectual of the family. He's a scientist and I couldn't begin to tell you what he researches... something to do with molecular biology. He recently accepted a great position at Stony Brook where he is the director of a new department. His love of his life, Martine, will be joining him in about a year. Steve and Martine have been together for over 10 years. They finally announced that they will be getting married next year in France!!

CHRIS

Christopher Brian Smith... my little brother. I will devote a separate page for him soon. My memorial to him... as he was in an automobile accident in 1979 and passed away shortly thereafter. I miss him so very much...

IVA CHER

Iva Cher is my little sister... I love her so very much. After growing up with only brothers who loved to pick on me, I felt really blessed when she came along. I used to pray for a sister just so that I wouldn't be the only girl. Although she is 10 years younger than I, we still found a way to be close to one another. She is a graduate of UCLA majoring in politcal science and is currently working in Washington DC. She yearns to go to law school. And she will because if there's a will there's a way. And she has the will. I'm so very impressed with her accomplishments. She's the greatest!! Here's a picture of her... Isn't she beautiful??
