MY PERSONAL JOURNAL - JUNE 1999

JUNE 3, 1999

Today starts my big move back to civilization. Okay, back to where I'm closer to my work and don't have to commute anymore :-)

My emotional roller coaster was really twisting and turning the other day, but I'm feeling much much better. I was able to relay a lot of my fears and feelings to my soulmate who inturn gave me the love and support I craved and needed. Basically, I needed reassurance that I wasn't crazy for staying in this long-distance relationship. Like I've said before, it is very difficult at times not being able to be with the one you love as much as you would like. We have been averaging a visit every 3 to 4 months which means we are due again. We've already started making arrangements :-)

My son's father just found out he has Leukemia :-( My son is taking it pretty hard... first his mother (me) with cancer and now his dad. Sometimes the feeling of dispair fills him and he starts talking about how he doesn't have a chance for a full life. Talk about something difficult to try to talk about with him. But, I'm here for him no matter what.

The baby birds better hurry up and fly away... or I may lose my ceramic pot because there's no way I would disturb them. I'm keeping this place for another couple weeks so they still have time.

The trip to France was FANTASTIC. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL. Seeing all the family together again was simply WONDERFUL. Now that I'm getting settled into my new place and job, I'll try to spend more time on my web page where I will try to describe in detail what it was like and scan a few pics too. Click here to read all about my trip to France.
