David Sr. - Hello friends and family. Another Christmas has and come and gone along with a thousand years. As we are headed into the second millennium, hope all finds you well and good. A lot has changed since last Christmas. I have been on the road traveling with construction jobs. First I worked for AWS doing power plants and then I went to work for TIC at the Henderson mine in Empire, CO. We put in the worlds longest conveyor system underground and under the Continental Divide. It was a cool job. I did a lot besides my previous craft as a welder. I got to meet a lot of people. TIC is a big outfit that has lots of room for growing individually and that is what I want. My family is a good support to me and they understand my reasons behind what I do. I am home now for a couple of weeks so in that time I hope to rebuild old friendships and become a father figure once again. Well, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Margo - This year has been an interesting one for me. I graduated in May with my Bachelors of Science in Social Work and Psychology. I spent the summer playing REALLY hard. I went to Las Vegas for the annual Moms On Vacation trip with my California girlfriends. I went to Indiana for ten days and met some of my online friends. I went to California more than once. In June I took a friend and her children and Cody went with me. In July I took Jami out for the Miss Junior America pageant and in July I got a chance to go to San Francisco. I decided in about August or September that I should start looking for work in my field and I am still looking. It has been a tough year with David working out of town the whole time but he is home for a couple of weeks to end the year and bring in the new Millennium. The new Millennium will bring many changes to the Vick household. I hope to be in a new job that I love and possibly in a new location before the year is over. I hope your Holidays are grand and the New Year brings much positive growth in your lives. |
