Details on the descendants of William "Thomas" Ivess As given to me by Mrs Joan Wilks, his grand daughter. Christened William but known as Thomas, he came to England from Ireland following the death in childbirth of his mother Ann, and the decision to emigrate to Australia by his bereaved father John Pope Ivess together with the younger children in the family. Thomas married Mary Collins 26/11/1871 and settled in London, in the parish of the English Martyrs at Tower Hill. All their children were educated there. John Ivess Born 3rd April 1873. Died in Lebong India 1904. His only son (John) died aged 70 days William Ivess Born 19th Jan 1875 Died in childhood Thomas
