Basic Foster Information (about the program, what you need, application)

• Signs of illness to look for
• Foster Statistics (Number fostered, Adopted, Rescued etc.)
• Foster Manuals (care, feeding and other related info.)
  1. CATS
     • Pregnant cats
       Information on: adjusting to the home, setting up a nesting box, what to exspect and delivery, the first few weeks of life etc..
       
     • Nursing mothers and kittens
       What to feed mother cat, signs of illness, kittens learning to eat, weaning, litter boxs and more...
       
     • Orphans (3-4wks and up)
       
     • U.R.I. (the cat "cold")
       
     • Foster an intack male 2yrs+ without worring about spraying! (save a unneutered male cats life)
  2. DOGS
     • Bringing your foster dog home
     • Puppies on the way
     • Kennel Cough
     • Crate training
       housetraing and cratetraning for puppies and adults
     • Barking: A Common Dog Behavior Problem
     • leash and promise collars
     • Feeding
     • Socilizing puppies (with people/kids, other dogs, cats)
     • Rescue dogs (see OHS DOG RESCUE [all sizes] and Pet Rescue Network [all small breeds])
• FOSTERING a CAT UNDER RESCUE STATUS
