Cathy and Her Friends - Part #1

No man is an island.
I wonder how I'd turn out to be if I were all alone throughout these years. Frankly speaking, I was quite a loner when I was still in high school even though there're plenty of people revolving around me all the time. More often than not I was enveloped with loneliness. Initially I told myself that I was going to be fine and I could handle things without friends. But as time went by, I slowly began to realise that I'm a person who need friends more than anyone else in order to survive in this harsh and cruel world, and to be able to stand up again everytime i fall, that is, with their patience, love and support.

So here I am, from the bottom of my heart, to thank all of you for being such a wonderful friend when I needed you most. And I mean not only my friends whom I meet everyday in college, but also my hometown friends as well as my cyber friends whom I turn to very often.

Below you'll find some photos which were taken together with my buddies that I treasure very much.

In Penang..

These bunch of animals here are my greatest friends of all. If you happen to drop by any mamak stall and detect a bunch of girls laughing like nobody's business, it's possibly our gang. Adorable, witty, funny and generous, you name it, we've had it all. ;-P

Apart from that, we share our darkest secrets and fascinating everyday stories among ourselves, which, most of the time, laughed our heads off either about our own silly mistakes or others'. Yeah, we like to make fun of people. We like to build our happiness on other people's misery. B E W A R E ! :-)

Despite our annoying behaviors, it's undeniable that we're always willing to lend a hand when anyone of us is in trouble. For example, ermmmm....let me see... (after 1 min) Well, there was once....erm.... (after 5 mins) I guess I'll tell you some other day. In short, we're a bunch of nice people that if a stray dog passes by we'll offer it some leftover food.

There're lotsa things we share in common, such as the food we like to eat(sushi), the places we like to go(beach & RICE), the insects we hate to see(cockroach), the people we like to watch(leng chai) and the jokes that we'll never fail to laugh at even though they've been repeated over umpteen times. Sometimes we don't have to say a word and the message is already conveyed to everyone. Yesss..it's telepathy! Amazing huh? Practise it 3 times a day, 5 times a week and you'll achieve this amazing stage of wonder. No guarantee though.
