1998 Klondike Derby
Horace A. Moses Boy Scout Reservation
January, 1998

The Klondike derby is an annual Council event. Each troop must bring a specially designed sled, complete with those items believed to be necessary to complete each of the day's tasks. Activities usually include outdoor problems in first aid, knot tying, and team building.
For this year's klondike derby, Troop 424 stayed at the Quimby Lodge. The weather wasn't that bad, but the boy's wished there was more snow in which to drag to sled in. The new (soon to be Roadkill) patrol took home three ribbons, showing the older Fox patrol what a little team work could do!!!

In this picture, the Fox Patrol drags their sled on the way to the next activity.
