Day 4 - Nashville/Lynchburg - Jack Daniels

Jack Daniels Distillery is the oldest registered distillery in the United States and is a two hour drive from Nashville.

This is the entrance and the beautiful greenery that surrounds it. The water from the stream is used to make the "brew".

In the waiting room you view gaily decorated barrels and a historical display of Jack Daniels bottles.

Our tour guide, "Junior", showed us how high they fill the barrels.

The "brew" is dripped though charcoal. Burning special wood creates the charcoal. On the right is the original sales office that was used until 15 years ago.

Rev kisses Jack's feet. That is NOT going to get you more "JD" Sweetheart!!!
