I JONATHAN HOLLOWELL of Said County and State of aforesaid considering the mutibility of things do make and publish this my last will and testament there by revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. First I here by constitute and appoint JAMES BROOKS to be Sole executor of this my last will directing my Said executor to pay all my Just debts and funeral expenses and the legaceys here in after mention given out of my Estate. Secondly after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give to my beloved wife the following Slaves Charles narsis and her youngest child March and milly Wyeth Leiniser and Harriet and all the house hold and kitchen furniture that we may be posest of and four mules of her choice and as much other stock as She may chose from the farm allso one large wagon and gears one Buggy and four choice plows and all my land except the Southwest quarter of Section eight and township five Range two west that I posess To have and to hold during her life time or widdowhood unless she may through affection relinquish a part of the above named Land to my Sons. I gave to my Sone E. B. HOLLOWELL the South west quarter of Section eight of township five of range two west. I gave to my Sone FRANKLIN J. HOLLOWELL the land that I now live on known as the Robberson place. I gave to my two CALVIN D. and ALBERT L. HOLLOWELL the ballance of my land including my old place to be equally divided between them. I gave to my Sone E. B. HOLLOWELL all the notes that I now hold against him for lone money. I gave to my daughter CAROLINE SAUNDERS, one negro Slave Jessee and all my railroad stock. I gave to my grand Sone WILLIAM HENRY DICKINSON one negroe boy named Henry. I gave to my grand daughter SARAH COCRUN one negroe girl named Emeline. I gave ELIZABETH BORLAND, E. B. HOLLOWELL, CALVIN D. HOLLOWELL, ALBERT L. HOLLOWELL, FRANKLIN J. HOLLOWELL, SARAH JANE HOLLOWELL and MARTHA ANN HOLLOWELL the ballance of my negroe Slaves except what has here to fore been given a way to be equally divided between the last named Sons children. In the lot ELIZABETH BORLAND draws She is only to have the use of them during her life time after her death to heirs lawfully begotten by her boddy. If She should die leaving no Such heirs at her death the Same lot of Slaves to be returned and be equilly divided between the last named Legetees. I gave to SARAH JANE and MARTHA ANN HOLLOWELL each one a feather bed and furniture. After the death of my wife I gave to ELIZABETH BORLAND, E. B. HOLLOWELL, CALVIN D. HOLLOWELL, ALBERT L. HOLLOWELL, FRANKLIN J. HOLLOWELL, SARAH JANE HOLLOWELL and MARTHA ANN HOLLOWELL all the property She may leave to be Equilly divided between the last named Legatees. If there should be any moneys in the hands of executor after paying all my Just debts either by Sale of property or otherwise It to be equelly divided between all my living children. In the name of God Amen: I SEANEY ANN HOLLOWELL being of sound mind & disposing memory do make & publish this my last will & testament. Giving my soul to God who created it, I will that my body be decently buried; and after the payment of my just debts & funeral expenses it is my will that my personal property be disposed of as follows; 1. First I give & bequeath to my daughter SARAH JANE HOLLOWELL a certain sorrel mule known as Puss - also two white sows, & two black shoats. 2. Item - I give & bequeath to JOHN J. HARRELL for the sole & separate use nevertheless - of my daughter MARTHA ANN PORTER, a bay filly called Mollie & my cow & calf - also two sows & two blue shoats. 3. Item - I give & bequeath to my said daughter SARAH JANE & to the said J. J. HARRELL for the use of my said daughter MARTHA ANN PORTER - all my other personal property & effects whatsoever, to be equally divided between them, or sold, as they shall determine & the proceeds equally divided - viz. All monies, credits, estate or effects due to me from any source, my growing crops - other stock not mentioned in above items - including a sorrel horse, - some hogs, my table & kitchen furniture, a wagon & farming tools & utensils. 4. Item - I hereby appoint my said daughter SARAH JANE & MARTHA ANN - or either of them my Executrices to carry out and perfect this my testament - herby authorizing them to sell any of said property mentioned in 3rd item to effect the purposes of these brequests either at public or private sale - and I further enjoin it upon them to act harmoniously & economically - not to consume this small estate in cost of court - not to go into Probate Court at all or if absolutely necessary only to Probate this will & make a final settlement; - but as far as possible to treat this instrument as a bill of sale, conveying to them the property & in the manner above specified as a deed of gift in consideration of natural love & affection - & I also request said trustee J. J. HARRELL to see that my daughter MARTHA enjoy to her sole & separate use the property given to her, or the proceeds thereof. Done at my residence Marshall County, Miss. I SARAH E. HOLLOWELL of Marshall County, Mississippi, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this as my last will and testament; hereby revoking any and all other wills by me at any time made. Item 1st. In view of the fact that I intend making my home in the household and family of my beloved daughter CHARLOTTE HOUSE, and that the infirmities of my old age will in some sense become a burden to my said beloved daughter, I give, and bequeath to my said beloved daughter CHARLOTTE HOUSE my entire estate real, personal, and mixed, of whatever kind, character and description or wheresoever situated. To have and hold the same in fee simple forever; Item 2nd. I hereby nominate and appoint my said beloved daughter CHARLOTTE HOUSE executrix of this my last will and testament, specially exempting her from giving any bond or security as such, and from filing any inventory or appraisement of my estate, and from making any report to any Court concerning the same.
