I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God

I believe that the Bible is divinely inspired by God. It is faultless and it is the sole and final authority for all matters of our lives (
2 Tim 3:16, 1 Cor 2:13 ).

|
I believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (
Matt 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14 ).

|
I believe that God created mankind but mankind sinned and became spiritually corrupted. Mankind is now unable to attain God's righteousness as a result of that Fall (
Rom 5:12,18 ).

|
I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of all people, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. Jesus Christ is totally God and yet, totally man (
Luke 1:26-35, John 1:14-18, Isa 7:14, 9:6 ).

|
I believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day (
1 Cor 15:1-4, Rom 4:25 ).
|

|
I believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven and that He is coming again a second time for His Church (
John 14:2-3, 1 Thess 4:13-18 ).

|
I believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the work of the cross
( Eph 2:8-9, Heb 9:12,22 ).

|
I believe that water baptism by total immersion in the name of the eternal Godhead is necessary in order to fulfill the command of our Lord Jesus Christ (
Matt 28:19, Acts 2:38, 19:1-6 ).

I believe in the baptism in/with the Holy Spirit as a real experience at salvation or after that. Believers can then speak in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance (
Acts 2:1-4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46 ).

I believe that the operation of the gifts and ministries of the Spirit that are listed in
1 Cor 12-14 and Eph 4 is still for us today.

|
I believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and holiness in the fear of God
( Eph 5:18, 2 Cor 6:14, 7:1 ).
|

12. |
|
I believe that miraculous physical healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus is still for us today
( Acts 4:30, Rom 8:11, 1 Cor 12:9, James 5:14, Mark 16:17 ).

13. |
|
I believe in the taking of Communion, or the Lord's Supper, for all born-again believers
( 1 Cor 11:28-32, Matt 26:26-28 ).

14. |
|
I believe that the Devil is a real spiritual person who will eventually be judged with his angels in the Lake of Fire (
Matt 25:41, Rev 20:14-15 ).

15. |
|
I believe in eternal life for believers ( John 5:24, 3:16 ) and eternal punishment for the unbelievers
( Mark 9:43-48, 2 Thess 1:9, Rev 20:10-15 ).

|
I believe that there is one true universal Church that is made up of genuine believers. However, this one universal Church is composed of many local churches in different localities (
Acts 15:22, Matt 16:18, 18:15-20 ).
